I went a bit off track track today, with an excursion into what seemed like the back of beyond to catch up with an avid Loyalist!
Whilst only half an hour out of Lawrence, it was quite the road trip, actually not the road as most of us know it lol. Winding into the hills, on gravelly dirt road, ruts and bends, and narrowing to almost one lane. I wondered what I’d let myself in for! It became very clear why the lady, after giving me directions said to me “well you’re very brave” haha. I’m inspired to take up 4 wheel driving 😂
But what fun I had, the scenery was spectacular and to finally meet one of our members I’d had a few chats with, was the icing on the cake. What a lovely soul, it was heartwarming to be welcomed into her nook of NZ, in absolute seclusion by a stunning lake.
If we don’t seek, we don’t find, and what a most uplifting find I had today! It’s all about the people and this beautiful country we live in!
As I make my way around, connecting with people who share titbits of their lives, it’s evident that so many want to see change. Positive change that will create well-being, security, success, and prosperity for all.
People want to be free to get on with their lives in peace, and vigor. Not to be burdened by drudgery, being controlled and treading water to simply survive. People want to prosper by their own hands to THRIVE!
