NZ Loyal remains fully committed to completing its re-registration process and delivering meaningful political alternatives for New Zealanders.
Recent claims by Liz Gunn that the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) has granted her the trademark for the name first lodged in August 2024 are incorrect. The application is currently only at Stage 3. The next phase is a mandatory three-month public objection period, during which NZ Loyal will be lodging formal objections. No trademark has been granted.

This appears to be a coordinated attempt to undermine the party’s re-registration. We will not be deterred. Such tactics will not succeed.
In her recent comments, Ms Gunn also selectively edited and misrepresented remarks made by NZ Loyal Deputy Leader John Alcock. The full context of his interview was a clear warning about the direction the current government is heading regarding digital currencies – not an endorsement. This selective clipping is a familiar tactic designed to provoke emotional reaction rather than encourage careful consideration of the facts.
We encourage New Zealanders to watch, listen, and evaluate all information critically. The truth becomes clear over time.
The current NZ Loyal team is united, professional, and making strong progress – which is precisely why efforts to derail us continue. We will stay focused on what matters most: restoring a better quality of life for all Kiwis and securing a safer, freer future for our children.
We are determined to fight and win this battle today so the next generation does not have to fight the same battle tomorrow.
NZ Loyal
Loyal to You, Not to Them.
